Easy tool for shortening long, unruly web address for easy sharing and posting on social networking (like facebook and twitter). When you don't want to ask students to type a long web address with lots of numbers and symbols (which most likely will be typed wrong and not work), shorten the address using Bit.ly

This free site publishes documents online for easy sharing. Recommended for sharing handouts and presentations for conferences or posting of Facebook.
