This is what got me started on student blogging. Fantastic advice - and great links. I especially recommend the "paper blogging lesson" link. A must-read for those thinking of having their students communicate with each other (in English!) through blogs.

Interesting page with lots of resources. This activity deals with the meteorite which hit Russia in February 2013. It contains many activities depending on different levels and skills.

This is an interesting activity you could find in the British Council website. It deals mainly with writing journals but more skills could be practised here, even video. The most important for me is the students' reflection on their own learning.

Excellent site to teach vocabulary ( animals, shopping, clothes...) and grammar through audiovisual media: videos, songs.... It offers quizzes for the students on the videos they watch and listen. Good for ESO or BATO

One of the best websites for English teachers. It has lesson plans, worksheets, audio, video and flashcards. For all ages, levels, skills and topics. Also CLIL.

Etapa o nivel: Primaria y E.S.O. Lengua extranjera: inglés Competencias: gramática y vocabulario. Principalmente utilizo esta página para sacar ejercicios de ampliación de gramática. Además considero que es muy buena para el estudio del estudiante de una forma autónoma puesto que se pueden autocorregir los ejercicios que realicen en la parte de ejercicios on line. Del mismo modo también ofrece ejercicios para imprimir. Además de "picture dictionary" que facilitarán el aprendizaje de el vocabulario en cuestión ya que el estudiante se apoyará en un medio visual. El nivel transcurre desde el básico con los colores hasta niveles de secundaria.

Para los cursos altos de primaria es un buen recurso para que repasen en casa los contenidos de clase.
