Indian share benchmarks were trading on bullish territory at their intraday high points during the mid-market session, with Sensex and Nifty rising around 260 and 67 points, respectively at around 12.15 pm.
Markets would track stocks of Apollo Tyres, Titan Co, Tech Mahindra, Gillette India, Divi's Lab and Berger Paints which are among a few top companies scheduled to report their September-quarter (Q2FY20) results on Tuesday, 5 November 2019.
Stock Markets on Thursday opened on a positive note on buying demand across sectors. The BSE Sensex was trading up by 120 points at 40,589.93-level and the Nifty stood at 11996-level, up by 30 points at around 10-am.
MSCI added DLF, Berger Paints, HDFC AMC, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Info Edge (India), Indraprastha Gas, Siemens and SBI Life Insurance to its portfolio.
