Chester told faculty that, like mass media organizations and governments, they are no longer gatekeepers of information but rather stewards and facilitators that help students make sense of the information around them."

The Hunt Library has many interesting features and it poses much food for thought, not only for the direction of libraries in the future, but on how our current libraries might be re-thought to be more appealing/useful to our users.

Good way to being planning for future development by looking at the present situation

New research shows that a part of the brain called the hippocampus stores memories by their "temporal context."" We need to remember not just what happened, but when.

"After reading a novel, actual changes linger in the brain, at least for a few days, report researchers. Their findings, that reading a novel may cause changes in resting-state connectivity of the brain that persist, appear in the journal Brain Connectivity."
