    For NYC and Berlin group this can be quite useful because it provides rich historic maps during 1940s and 1970s. May help you identify the project.

I realized that it can be quite helpful to search on an image website for interesting examples. Often there they are georeferenced, or there is text explaining where the buildings stand.
