A really excellent blog with many resources; it acually is an interdiocesan project (Michelle Shearman had compiled the resources and graciously given permission to other teachers to use).
These sites are a compilation of the many sites Sam and Cathy have given us on a Tuesday afternoon technology session. Some of the sites/resources/ideas are new and very worthwhile looking at.
If you want to create word clouds in different shapes...this is the site to do it! I will explain more about it at next weeks IT session...It looks really cool.
A good site for comprehension strategies and summarising. This site highlights most frequently used words in your text with the click of a button. Gives you images to go with your text aswell as a visual thesaurus. Give it a try, see if it compliments your comprehension strategies.
This is the tool we used at today's session. You copy and paste (or type) the words into the box, and press the "Sift" button, from there, you can view definitions, images, videos etc about any word from the passage you have typed - very powerful tool.

Great resource for teachers and for parents (School Bulletin ad?) coming up to National Literacy and Numeracy Week; the viodeos are very professional with speakers such as Prof. Freebody. Also has titles such as Numeracy in the Home, Using an empty number line, Talk about Text and others (great for teacher professional development).
