Wacky Web Tales is designed for students in grades three and above. Wacky Web Tales asks students to fill-in a blank form using words to make parts of speech prompts. The words the students write into the blank form are the used in an automatically generated short story.
Shahi is a fantastic tool for ESL students, language and literacy learners. "Shahi is a visual dictionary that combines Wiktionary content with Flickr images, and more!"
A number of definitions are provided and are categorised into nouns and verbs. Visuals from Flickr, Google Image and Yahoo assist users in grasping the meaning. Hover over a photo and the photo is enlarged. Click on a photo and that takes you to the photographer's site.

A cool tool to create quick acrostic poems. Asks the user to put their name in and then takes them through how to create the poem, and even gives suggestions if they are stuck for words.
