Earlier in the early 20 th century, people used to carry metallic bottles and containers everywhere. They were heavier and would pose other inconveniences. For instance, one couldn't dispose of them since they were expensive. Besides, they would cost much more despite the limited number of uses.

The process of plastic molding is difficult yet it is easy to get a hang of the basics. The liquid plastic is filled into containers and frozen thereafter so that the desirable shape and size can be achieved. Of course, the process is not as easy as it sounds since the execution requires use of some heavy machines and equipments.

These days, plastic bottles are widely being used for both domestic and commercial purpose. It is very convenient to carry a plastic bottle around as it is light and can be disposed of easily. It is also economic to buy them since they are cheap and do not require investment like a metallic container would do.

With the growth in use of plastic and PET bottles, the cap mould industry has also gained popularity. Now-a-days, technology has given birth to various forms of caps which differ in colors and designs. So, gone are the days when one would have to do with a dull-looking cap for the bottle.
