Michael is President of Michael Lerner Productions and the publisher and editor of Learn the Net. The San Francisco company develops electronic training products for consumers and businesses. In 1996, the company began a grassroots effort to educate Internet novices with its Learn the Net website. Thousands of schools, libraries, community organizations, corporations and government agencies worldwide now use the site for its consumer-friendly Internet advice.
In 1991, Michael began his career in educational software as a Senior Producer with the development team that created the first fully electronic middle school computer literacy curriculum, ComputerVisions. In 1993, he became a founding partner of Paradesa Media, a multimedia development and Internet company. Products created by the company include Larry Magid's Essential Internet, the first animated CD-ROM starter kit to the online world. The editors of HomePC magazine named it as one of the top ten Internet products of the year for 1996.
Ashley Stephens, Web Content Developer

Ashley has been with the Learn the Net team since 2006 and is primarily responsible for web design and Flash application development. She has created multimedia content for the legal, sports broadcasting and video game industries for over 20 years. When not in front of her computers--a rare occurrence--Ashley can be found hiking or reading a book at a local cafe.
Mark Salvatore, Web Engineer

Mark has been a web developer since 1994. He quit full-time employment in 2005 to work independently, taking his work "on the road" where he programmed websites remotely in cities throughout Latin America for US clients. He typically works with graphic designers, converting finished layouts into HTML templates using current technologies. He codes the application logic in either ColdFusion or PHP and designs and installs the supporting database when required.
Seth Augustus Quittner, Graphic Designer

Seth is a graphic artist who has been immersed in Web and graphic design since 1995. He is also a musician who writes and performs his own songs that combine Tuvan throat singing techniques with Delta Blues. Shawn Douglas, Writer

Shawn is currently based in St. Louis, but before that he taught English in Spain to children and adults from many different backgrounds. He strives to find connections between writing, editing, and teaching in everyday life. When he's not working he's following technology news, playing a strategy game, discovering new hiking destinations, or finding new ways to cook with eggs and cheese.

Sheela has a broad range of professional experience: a school teacher, a technical proofreader in a typesetting company, an Editor in a business research company and an Instructional Designer in an e-learning company. For a brief period she worked as a Processing Executive in the back operations of an international bank.

Nagesh has been working with the IT industry for 11 years. He has done extensive research on the component based software development and Web services with premier American universities. He has published a number technical papers in international conferences and journals based on his research work.
Nagesh recently started a company called Khushal Technologies, providing services in the areas of application development, website and web applications design and development, content management system (CMS), quality assurance, web research, and project management using the latest technologies.
