This website is not for just one certain content area. It allows you to choose your certain content area, grade level, certain materials (i.e. English - poetry, short stories, etc.). I have used a lot of the ideas from this website to create my own lesson

This website contains posts from man people that engage the learner with multiple perspectives. Some examples are math and poetry and gets the reader interested by looking upon the thoughts of other learners and responding to their contributions. I think teachers could keep this site bookmarked and keep refering back to it, and when something insprires them they can relay it back to their students!
This site through BBC contains many fun interactive games that incorporate learning into each level of the game. I find them entertaining myself but I think this website would be great for having students remain on task after a test or quiz, or perhaps they have worked ahead and need to become occupied with something. Can be used by anybody, anywhere!
Where do I start, they have link to websites for students and teachers that create discussion forums, making quizzes and polls, designing of slideshows and presentations with a plethera of websites one might now be able to find otherwise. Designing word art and also link to games that are educational as well as fun for students.
This is an important site for English teachers, as it is a vital resource for teachers- it includes lesson plans, important news for English teachers, etc.
This site helps show students the mythological roots of many words, but in an interactive, fun way- the students read stories, find meanings, and can even access worksheets using the words
This site is really helpful for students reading Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher," as it provides pop-ups with vocab, info, reading questions, etc. that help the student understand Poe's story
This site will allow me to check the Standard Course of Study for English 9-12, as well as other courses and grades. I will use the site to complete unit plans, curriculums, and lesson plans.
