GPUGRID.net is a distributed computing infrastructure devoted to biomedical research. Thanks to the contribution of volunteers, GPUGRID scientists can perform molecular simulations to understand the function of proteins in health and disease.

LAWA will federate distributed FIRE facilities with the rich Web repository of the European Archive, to create a Virtual Web Observatory and use Web data analytics as a use case study to validate our design. Our goal is to get our students worldwide(technically oriented individuals), who due to their socio-economic status don't have fund to study robotics engineering at a university, learn to design and build robust, intelligent robots for a university robotics engineering degree.
