Burn visual 1st-3rd degree differences

This is about a vacation for youth who have suffered burns at some point in their lives - usually when they are pretty young. Kind of like cancer camps, it gives them a chance to be with peers who understand what they've been through and don't stare at their scars.

This is another video about the firefighter that I just posted. It is pretty similar but I like this one better because it is a little more detailed and you get to hear from the burn survivor. It also lets you know how he is recovering.

This is pretty amazing. Although this method is in the trial stages it is able to repair burns within 4 days. I am not sure if it depends on the level of burns but this guy has second degree (partial thickness) and this treatment was very successful.

You may have seen this man on Dancing With the Stars (winner). As a 19 year old Iraq veteran, his truck hit an IED and he had severe 3rd degree facial burns. He turned his tragedy into triumph and has appeared in daytime soap operas, is a motivational speaker, and has received awards from other veterans.

Great resource for burn victims, also some incredible stories!

All be it a superficial treatment, incredibly healing for some people.
