I have been working over the last few months on designing a Business English course for a virtual school called languagelab.com that has an island in Second Life

The Authoring Software that made these exercises is now available for purchase, contact us for further details We are also running a one-day seminar on use of the software This course material is freely available for use by teachers in any educational institution, although the copyright remains with the Department of Language Studies at London Guildhall University.

Project "Developing Digital Skills @ School" focuses on ICT. Teachers & students learn how to deal with the computer. DigiSkills teachers design, share, compare and enhance teaching methods and materials.

Great site for authentic material on Spanish history!

This section aims to support teachers in using assessment to enhance learning in Years 7-8. It builds on the principles of assessment for learning in the Board's Years 7-10 syllabuses and the advice in subsequent support materials on implementing these principles. For each course listed below there are samples of student work aligned to the common grade scale, illustrating standards at the end of Stage 4. Samples of student work are also provided in English and Mathematics to illustrate standards mid-stage (end of Year 7). The common grade scale can be used to report student achievement in both primary and junior secondary years in all NSW schools.
