Although simple to look at I find this great with the younger students to get them into researching.The info here is good for teachers as starting points.Worth exploring if you can.

Have just added this to my library website very efficient skills delivery for students and staff who have a little time on their hands.

Jeff Utecht's blog entry about a novel way to teach students search skills. Give students and start and end point. Eg. 3rd Grade - give students: Rocks and Volcanoes. Start with Rocks and create a search story that gets them to end the search story with how Rocks and Volcanoes are related.
