    The Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC) just cleared the construction of a flyover parallel to the existing single-carriageway Rao Tula Ram Marg flyover.The flyover will cost Rs 140 crore. The flyover will run through the existing six-lane Munirka flyover and will go over Vivekananda Marg, Nelson Mandela Marg and Poorvi Marg intersection. It will also run parallel to the existing RTR Marg flyover, going over RTR Marg and Benito Juarez Marg intersections. The main focus if the project is to link the airport and NH-8. Especially of Palam Marg residents, whose bungalows face the road, opposed the takeover of a service lane outside their houses for the project. The main reason for which this flyover is coming up is, long back this flyover was reduced to a single carriageway, resulting in a traffic bottleneck and daily chaos.
