The government may soon come out with a condition for housing project promoters to specify source of water. Chief minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said the No-Objection Certificate (NoC) would not be given by the authorities to apartments and other big housing projects if the projects don't have a water source. Replying to M Srinivas (JDS) in the legislative council, Siddaramaiah said he has received many complaints from people who purchase flats but find there's no water available. "Whether water is available or not should be checked first before giving NoC," he said.
