The number of new houses sold in the U.S. in November was less than what economists predicted. According to analysts, unemployment and the presence of listings of bank-owned homes affected the result.

Housing experts stated that there is a possibility that filings for bank foreclosures will rise again 2011. Most of them believe that the peak of the home industry crisis will occur during the year.

Foreclosure houses for sale are popular among the current crop of homebuyers, realtors reported. However, most of them are looking for a well-maintained house.
