Welcome to Cooperative and Collaborative Learning. In this session we'll focus specifically on how this technique for using small, cooperative groups in education can help improve learning in your class. Then you can proceed from CONCEPT TO CLASSROOM as you begin to apply new ideas to your lessons.
If you're like me and are hopeless at taking your own rolls, and you have an Android phone, you might like this. You can mark the roll on your phone each lesson, and at the end of the semester download the CSV file (it opens as a spreadsheet in Excel) and tally up the semester's absences.
I think this might be an excellent way to get instant feedback about how well our students are going. It really fits in with the idea of success criteria and Powerful Learning.
