There're so many unheralded punk nuggets floating around the world that it really has become impossible to track each and everyone down. And oddly enough, it's taken a Japanese label to ingratiate listeners to the sounds of F.U.2.
They sound like punk/classic hardcore with a lot of cheap blingbling as they probably can´t afford real gold chains. But they can afford Keyboards sampler and cheap casio sounds in their music, adding to the traditional instruments.
I like it.
The only overtly southern aspect to the person that is Jay Reatard, over the phone at-least, is the way in which he pronounces New Orleans. On the tongue of Southerners, it becomes one, lackadaisical...
Why do they allways have to fuck up the start of this otherwise brilliant song? Sounding like the Scorpions cannot be their intention... Or is this a special german edition of this song?
