Welcome to the website of the International Network for Indigenous Health Knowledge and Development (INIHKD). The INIHKD is a new international assembly dedicated to improving the health of indigenous peoples in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States through indigenous and community-led research, health services and workforce development.

To support the inherent rights of Indigenous peoples to achieve full and complete health and wellness by collaborating in decolonizing research and knowledge building and sharing.

The Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) is an international, nonviolent, and democratic membership organisation. Its members are indigenous peoples, minorities, and unrecognised or occupied territories who have joined together to protect and promote their human and cultural rights, to preserve their environments, and to find nonviolent solutions to conflicts which affect them.

The Public Health Department of the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) works to prevent infectious diseases, improve environmental health and health in workplace, prevent injuries from accidents, support community development, improve life habits and prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, and support the development, adaptation and social integration of our people. Our work is carried out in the context of Iiyiyiu values: spiritual, emotional, mental and physical equilibrium.

The Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) is an inter-tribal, co-management agency committed to the implementation of off-reservation treaty rights on behalf of its eleven Ojibwe member tribes. Formed in 1984 and exercising authority specifically delegated by its member tribes, GLIFWC's mission is to help ensure significant, off-reservation harvests while protecting the resources for generations to come.

IAPH supports research to address the special health needs of Canada's Aboriginal people. The Institute of Aboriginal Peoples' Health (IAPH) was established in June 2000, along with the twelve other Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Its role is to lead a national advanced research agenda in the area of aboriginal health and promote innovative research that will serve to improve the health of aboriginal people in Canada.

The Alaska Native Science Commission (ANSC) was established in 1994 to bring together research and science in partnership with the Native community.  It serves as a clearinghouse for proposed research, an information base for ongoing and past research and an archive for significant research involving the Native community.  ANSC provides information, referral and networking services for researchers seeking active partners in the Native community and communities seeking research partners..
