Below you will find links to iPad applications that target the various levels of Bloom's Revised Taxonomy. I only included free apps that were "content-neutral" to make them usable across the curriculum. I also tried to include apps for the iPad only, but a few iPhone apps may have snuck in! Each app image is clickable, and you will be taken to the iTunes Store to learn more about each one. If you have other iPad apps you would like to recommend that meet the same criteria, please fill out the Google Survey at the bottom of this page. The results will be public so we can all benefit from each other's expertise.

In order to help educators integrate iPads effectively, we have compiled a list of apps focused on learning goals consistent with the CRCD framework. Joan L. Green, a speech-language pathologist in Potomac and the author of "The Ultimate Guide to Assistive Technology in Special Education," shares some of her favorite iPad apps for kids with special needs. These are the most expensive versions of the apps because they have the most options for individualizing them to a child's particular needs. In some cases, there are less expensive versions. These apps cost far more than most, but they are cheaper than traditional communication systems and equipment that parents of kids with special needs may have bought in the past.
