Your attitude can play a major part in your happiness at work. Having a high
level of control over your job responsibilities can backfire if you lack
confidence or take setbacks too personally. Combine the two, and you're more
vulnerable to infections, like bronchitis, influenza or even the common cold
In our occupation, we should not be saying, "I'm just doing my job". We should have a moral obligation to do the right thing the right way while at work. Definately goes along with practical wisdom.
If you drink rat poison and
destroy your own liver, that should probably disqualify you from the transplant
list. Why? Because you've already proven you don't value your own God-given
organs. Why should modern medicine hand over a new

The National Basketball
Association (NBA) jumped on the NRDC sports bandwagon in 2009,
working with the group to organize its first annual Green Week in early April
whereby the entire league works in concert to generate environmental awareness
and funding for related causes
Professional sports have decided to take the "green" approach as well by implementing energy saving technologies such as wind power, solar panels, and biodegrable corn-based plastic cups. Walmart in Brazil has taken the "Green" approach and is protecting the enviornment. Here is their plan: No companies that employ slave labor; "forced" labor is a rampant problem in developing countries.
* No soybeans
sourced from illegally deforested areas; 20% of the world's
carbon emissions (and 70% of Brazil's emissions) come from burning down trees. * No beef sourced from any newly cleared
Amazonian land; globally, deforestation emits more carbon than all vehicles. Brazil and Indonesia are at the heart of this enormous challenge.
The wasted earth and other materials are either put back onto the mountain top in an approximation of their original contours, wreaking havoc on local ecosystems and biodiversity, or dumped into neighboring valleys, polluting lakes and streams and jeopardizing water quality for humans and wildlife.
