Prezi is another great online presentation tool to consider. Plays nice with others and much more interesting than most power points.
  •
I think I just bought a new pair of shoes called Prezi. Looks good.

I joined! Then I got busy searching for coupons and realized I was supposed to be doing homework....oops!
  •
That is funny Jill! I get caught up in looking at deals too. In fact, right now I should be doing housework and on to school stuff and yet, I am couponing and goofing around on Diigo! Glad you liked the link.
  •
I also love to save! (even more now that I am unemployed!) I also love another website "pocketyourdollars.com" - I will add to my library and you can check it out!
  •
Isn't this a great sight! I am just starting to get the hang of couponing! My friend has it down to a science. I some how end up spending more! I'm working on it!

My wife use to make fun of me b/c I would clip coupons from the Sunday paper. Now she sits next to me and tells me which ones to cut.
  •
I just watched a TV show the other night on the extreme use of coupons some people do. I must say it was quite impressive to see the one customer purchase $630 dollars in groceries and only pay $6 after all her coupons. I do not think I will ever go to the extent these people on the show do, but I do love a good deal and will check out the site you posted...thanks!
  •
I should have kept scrolling as you love this site too!

I like using audacity for audio files. You can imagine perhaps creating audio files of key course content so students with reading disabilities can listen while they read. A great project for parent and grandparent volunteers btw!

What struck me immediately were the school hours- 9:30- 4:00 would be a dream for my kids! As it is they are up at 6:30 and out the door by 7:10. Too early. That looks like a great place. What is your area? was it science?
  •
Nate what teacher are you working with there? My twins are both in Mrs. Kania's class. It is a great school!
  •
My mentor is Matt MacPhail, he is a 6th grade teacher. It's so cool what they do there as I'm sure you know first hand.

I read this as a child and I loved it. I never thought of this as a "bully" book.
    • Amy Zimmermann

I never did either but now that I think about the book, it really does show bullying behavior of making fun of the "duckling" and leaving him out. I just covered bullying again with one of my groups. Would you believe that all 15 girls have been bullied?
    • Renee Gogolewski

I would love to read this again. Our daughter was a victim of bullying last year, it was miserable! It makes me mad as a parent but also very sad for the one who is doing the bullying. An eye opening experience.

We are currently reading this book in our 6th grade class, a very good book for that age group!

I love this book. My children love the Berenstain Bairs. It's great to see a fictional character go through these situations so they know how to handle it if it happens to them.
  •
I need to bulk up my library! This is a topic that needs to be discussed in schools on a regular basis to keep the topic fresh in their minds.
