KARACHI: Major Genera Bilal Akbar, Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Thursday met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and conveyed his reservations regarding advertisement against paramilitary force by police in local dailies. The chief minister assured the DG Rangers that impartial inquiry would be conducted into the issue and action would be taken against the culprits found involved.
KARACHI: Two policemen lost their lives in broad daylight attack in Karachi on Thursday. According to Samaa correspondent, the cops were gunned down by unknown bikers near Char Minar Chowrangi in Bahadurabad, one of city's busy commercial areas.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Friday obtained 90-day remand of political activist allegedly involved in targeted killing of 57 people. Sources in the paramilitary forces said the suspect arrested from Gulshan-e-Mamar area of the city is also involved in the killing of two paramilitary soldiers as well as armed attacks on police and Rangers mobiles.
FAISALABAD: Samaa woman reporter was manhandled, while a cameraman was tortured during coverage on Susan Road in Faisalabad on Saturday. A man, riding a police motorbike, mistreated the reporter Shehnaz Mahmood and beat cameraman Abid Minhas when they were performing their official duty.
