A Quail Taking In The Evening Sun. These quail are funny, they will jump on the fence posts and just bask in the sun. We see this in the evenings mostly.

I ran across this lizard as he/she was sitting on top of a fence post sunning itself. At first this lizard ran!! But ironically enough stopped, and just looked at me for the longest time!

Been pretty busy the last couple of days, today has been no different. Guy said lets go! So I was ready in no time and out the door we went. We went to watch the sunrise this morning. I caught Guy leaning on one of the fence posts.

The mule deer have their own personalities. This is a given to us who watch them, photograph them. Here are some shots I got of the Mule Deer hiding behind the juniper trees and brush or peeking out of where they can to watch me watching them! One doe is so afraid she is still eating HAHA! The bucks are now loosing their antlers as seen in another one of my posts. I do worry for the young, it is winter time. Not a good time for young to be born or for the older young who are not experienced with getting away from hungry predators. But the way the world works when the older, experienced bucks are the ones the hunters want, leaving their duties to the younger inexperienced bucks.

I take a lot of photographs, with this said I do not ever think I posted about this old homestead? Here in our part of the world, to get to anywhere we choose to take the back roads.

These birds were funny for as soon as they seen me paying attention to them they took of flying! We were not sure what these birds were and had to do some research. These were on the Crooked River here in Central Oregon. Nearest town was Post Oregon.

Sunday was a amazing day for Bald Eagles! My post Young Bald Eagle was the first sighting of this happening.

This past week has been CRAZY!! Crazy good that is! This is not going to be a post about one species, I captured way to many things this past week for that. So this is going to be a mix of photographs, a mix of adventures.

There may be times when you want to play around with some elements in your images. Perhaps you want to change a color to a more suitable one in post-processing. One of the tools you can use in Photoshop is the Channel Mixer. It is a simple process that allows you to change the color of any element in your image to any other color under the rainbow. The Channel Mixer adjustment is widely used for making good black and white image conversions, correcting color casts, and exaggerating color.
