This is a Youtube video sponsored by Work with Nature where a man shows on camera, step by step, his building geodesic domes (including his calculations and math). He made this video to help other people who are eager in building domes and to tell people about his business of selling these domes to people who don't want the excitement of building their own. The video uses metal piping and it covers cutting the metal, drilling holes, pressing it, attaching them, the math, the construction, what materials to use, and how to cover the dome. This video will be the most helpful tool I will use during my ILO, because as of October 7th, I have decided to use metal piping for a greenhouse and this video is the perfect step-by-step visual instructor. I will basically follow these steps exactly with maybe some background research and experiments from other websites. I have spent a lot of time on YouTube looking for other videos of this caliber, but this one is by far the best. I've read the reviews and comments for this video and it looks like other people have successfully made domes using this video. This video has already proven a huge help to me. Through this video I have made decisions like what materials to use, how to attach them, and how to do the math that is necessary in making a dome. This source is easy to use, and when you miss a step it is easy to go back and watch it until you have it down perfectly. This video has made me much more confident going ahead with my project now that I have such an easy, usable model to go off of. I highly recommend using this source if you need to make a geodesic dome.

One of the main points of this site is biology of the deer, which is basically what they eat, their species, population number, location, and a little bit of anatomy. There are sites outside of new England that go much farther into detail, but this site is still pretty helpful. This site has good information for me considering I am studying overall biology and management. I would recommend this site to someone who wants a great splurge of information about vermont deer, but if someone wanted to know more information about deer or if they needed info on specific topics that go deep into detail, than this site may not be for them. This site was pretty helpful because it gave information about everything and wrote two to three sentences about each and every topic . For example, the site says that "deer are completely vegetarian. They eat a variety of leaves, twigs, and nuts. In Vermont, a deer's diet consists of maple, ash, birch twigs and leaves. Small plants, grasses, and fruit and nuts such as apples, acorns, and beechnuts also are important foods."Clearly, this site goes into detail and has valuable information. I now know that I have furthered my knowledge about deer. Once I pick a specific topic to study I may have to pick sites outside of Vermont because states with a higher deer density and more money can study deer

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center in Burlington VT is a place where I have had the pleasure to go for school trips as a younger kid. I also had the opportunity to go on October 23, 2014. Being part of the Pathways Program I get lots of opportunities to meet and learn from experts on my topics. Today I got to meet Steve Smith, an aquarium keeper at the Echo. Shadowing him and his interns helped me understand the deeper care and maintenance of keeping an aquariums. I learned that when feeding your fish watch the way they act when its feeding time. If they stay at the top waiting for food you should slowly give more until they act uninterested. I also learned that the graits in the filters need to be cleaned one or more a week. Only rinse with water because the there is a certain bacteria that the fish need. I also have to look at ammonia in the water. If there is too much I need to drain 2/3s of the water and add new water to the tank. I found it very helpful to hear this information and I look forward to going again soon.

SAT Question of the day was such a great tool! Studying for something like the SAT is stressful, and sometimes you just avoid it all together because you don't know how to go about it! Believe me, I did...until I found this source! SAT Question of the day works in two ways; you can have the site email you one practice question a day, or you can go on the the College Board SAT site and do a question (or many questions) each day! I found this to be a very laid back, effective, and organized way to study for the SATs. I highly recommend using this source!

This Google Site made by Curt Drury is an excellent example of a cheap, but very successful geodesic greenhouse. This source shows how to build the dome using PVC pipe and cutting your own connections. This will make the joints weaker, but if it worked for Drury then it is worth it to look into. He made his dome with only spending $300. This site is very useful because the creator of the dome doesn't leave out steps and projects. He was very good about recording his process as well as uploading pictures of it. I would recommend using this site, especially if you are thinking in terms of a greenhouse. This is a good reference to go back and forth to while you research and build your own dome. When I found this site and read it, I was able to make my decision that "Yes, a geodesic-dome-greenhouse is a realistic, exciting option". Once I knew it was going to be a greenhouse I could eliminate materials like wood (too wet in greenhouse for wood). This site is very helpful. I will be referring to it and comparing to it as I build my dome.

This will allow the secretary of state, without consent from the citizens of the United States, to decide the gun control laws in our country and across the globe. I fear Obama's actions are going to start a civil war if this actually happens because it would violate the second amendment right of all U.S. citizens by creating a larger global law banning guns. I am strongly opposed to the U.N. setting our country's gun control laws and want to protect my current rights as a U.S. citizen.
