Scrambled Poetry - 1 views

  •
This is a website that was very fun for my students last year. The ready made poems are appropriate for 4-6 but the blank magnetics could be used for any grade. Students are given scrambled magnets that they have to try to put in sentences to create a poem. New this year is a blank set of magnet that you can add your own words to.

I thought of 4-6 students with this site. Includes videos that explain how to solve math concepts. Great for extra support and practice during Internetion time.

Videos that explain 4-6 math concepts (multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, etc). This website would be great for an independent math station for extra practice during Intervention time.

A great website for digital storytelling. This would be very easy for the older students to use. You simply add images, music, text, etc. and it makes it into a video. It makes student powerpoint presentations a little more exciting!

Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids - 1 views

  •
Tiered reading assignments (by grade level) for information about our government. Sorry 5th grade...this probably would have been great 3 months ago!
  •
This website has a lot of great information for kids about our governement. The reading is "tiered" by grade levels, but you could have a struggling reader read the same information, but at a lower level. A great way to combine leveled reading with content area.
