Debug a Sitecore site with code on a host machine (laptop with Windows 7) but the site in IIS on a VM (Windows Server)

Apparently, the reason I was recieving the Internal Server error message was that I had installed SQL Server 2008, after installing Visual Studio 2010, and because of this it corrupted the IIS Machine level configuration files ("If you install VS2010 and then install VS2008 and VS2008 SP1, the configuration files for ASP.NET in IIS only include about 1/2 of the correct .Net 4.0 configuration sections." read more here).

A really handy extension that gives you a whole bunch of new features for vs2010. Most notably (imo) is the fact that you can drag tabs off of the top bar and make them into their own windows.

I know a bunch of people have custom themes and coloring for their visual studio settings. If you need the default code coloring for documentation or anything of that sort, then you can copy your coding here and it will set the default coloring for you.

The Format document on save option formats the tabs, spaces, and so on of the document being saved. It is equivalent to pointing to the Edit menu, clicking Advanced, and then clicking Format Document. The Remove and sort usings option removes unused using statements and sorts the remaining using statements in the document being saved.
