The February 1 edition of University Business includes the following article highlighting that Vanderbilt University selected Oracle's PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to overhaul its admissions systems and enhance strategic assessments for campus programs.  The article notes that PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management will enable the institution to integrate six admissions systems into one comprehensive solution to facilitate more efficient information transfer between departments and mitigate student records integration complexities.

The February 3 edition of Campus Technology includes the following article highlighting that Vanderbilt University selected Oracle's PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution to overhaul its admissions systems.  The articles notes that Vanderbilt University will use the new system to analyze admissions data and assess institutional programs.  The article includes comment by Douglas Christiansen, vice provost for enrollment and dean of admissions, Vanderbilt University, who notes that by consolidating their previous systems with Oracle's PeopleSoft CRM, and integrating it with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Warehouse and PeopleSoft Performance Management Warehouse, the university can improve reporting and transfer student records and data between departments more efficiently.
