However, many teachers cannot access YouTube in their classrooms. Therefore, I compiled a list of other places to find educational videos that don't rely on YouTube.

Since this week is Halloween, we are using this to describe different ways you can incorporate project-based learning into the classroom. This is a background article on the teacher David Hunter and how he based his whole class and projects around "how to duck the undead invasion, secure their supplies, and, eventually, rebuild society." It will encourage teachers to be more creative when coming up with project-based learning ideas and topics.
  •
This is a great website because it has different project-based learning ideas. It shows different ways you can create curriculums for specific goals. There are a lot of creative ideas about how to get students excited about learning.

This is the full-blown curriculum for "Zombie-Based Learning." Don't make them register for the website, but they can click on the Five Parts to get a basic idea of the lesson module. Ask the question: "How would you set this up for students in your classroom?"

This thoroughly explains what a PBL is and what is designed to do for the students. This is mainly helpful for students who are actually working on a project as this will help guide them to better understand what they will get out of it.

This is the EDTech 3123 classroom online textbook's chapter on Problem Solving, Inquiry Learning, and Games. It was useful with definitions and the role of teachers in different "based" classrooms. It was helpful in finding resources and articles to explain problem-based learning, project-based learning, game-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and gamification.

Wiggio is a website is similar to facebook and twitter and you can work in groups easily, and it is a single website that brings many different aspects together in one simple website. My big campus is a website that makes it easy for teachers to collaborate with other teachers, students, as well as parents. On top of these, my big campus is also great at helping to create lesson plans, and track your students success. Goorulearning is a website that allows teachers and students to learn in new and fun ways. You can gear the quizzes and study guides for the specific grade you are teaching. Mrs. Cornejos blog is a great example of a blog that each person in our group could see using and even gearing our own blogs around. This blog is a great way to keep parents involved in what is happening in the classroom. Mrs. Anderson's website is an example of a wiki website and is similar to a blog and students can get involved as well.
