Resource #2: I really enjoyed this resource. This is a game that lets the student experience what it is like to experience cyberbullying. It allows the students to think of appropriate solutions to how to prevent cyberbullying and what to do if you are being bullied.

Nearpod is a simple, interactive website to use in your classroom. On nearpod, teachers can make quizzes, polls, videos, etc in order to engage and assess their students.

I chose this resource because it lists various apps and websites that teachers could use for student collaboration in the classroom. The website is a credible site that many of educators like to use. You can explore each of the websites or apps in more detail by just clicking on them.

How Can Teachers Use It? Undoubtedly, Educreations is an excellent tool for creating and sharing multimedia lessons for you and your students. Teachers can invite students to lessons with a link they send to students via the app or with a code; email lessons; embed them within a blog or website; or share via Facebook, Twitter, or on the Educreations website.

This website goes into detail about what Project Based Learning is. This is a great tool other than the textbook to get a complete grasp on the concept. Not only does it describe PBL as "a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge", but it also provides steps to follow when creating an engaging PBL assignment lesson plan. These steps include: Key Knowledge, Challenging Problem, Sustained Inquiry, Authenticity, Student Voice & Choice, Reflection, Critique & Revision, and Public Product. Following this list of steps and making sure the lesson plan provides all of these points will make for an engaging class. Another component this website contains is a blog for educators to post about the Project Based lessons they implemented in the classroom. I believe sharing ideas with other teachers is one of the most helpful ways to improve your own teaching because you receive feedback and encouragement to what you are doing well, and what can be changed for the benefit of the class.

Rather than assessing students by traditional tests, a portfolio offers a more creative expression of student skills.It shows the strengths of a student, regardless of if they are strong test takers, and is more adaptable to the individual.

"Tackk is a place connect with friends, be creative and have fun conversations." Based on what I learned from my short time of playing on Tackk's website, I have found it to be an interesting way to allow students to be engaged in their learning. One big use that comes to mind for me would be an online study guide. In history courses this could be particularly useful. You can add videos, maps, images, text, etc that the students can look over and review at their own pace.
