The video portion of this website is very helpful and connects to this chapter because it shows different activities that teacher's can use to engage their students. Not only are there videos, but there is also topics that organize the different types of lessons and activities making it organized and efficient to use. Lastly there is a blog where teachers can communicate with each other, exploring new ideas and topics.

2. The Khan Academy app is a really cool place to find extra resources in order to better explain and understand a lesson. It has a ton of videos and explanations of different topics.  

Reading Rockets is a reliable, applicable resource for teachers to use in their classroom and lesson planning. We have found that this website also contains valuable information pertaining to the many benefits of parents being involved and a part of the classroom community. It shows the positive effect a relationship and communication with a teacher has on the parents, the student, and the teacher. This website will add a lot of important information to our lesson and the people we are trying to reach.

This is a great website to look up videos for lessons. You can search based on topic or for grade level. The videos are short and simple and a great way to introduce a topic.
