This fascinating website falls under the "finding information/resources" section of week 6, as it offers nearly 200 specific YouTube channels that can be used in the educational field. This site even includes an "Office of EdTech" component, which students can use to practice using technologies and their educational points. In the same way, teachers can use it to incorporate technology into lessons. This webpage serves as a means of finding resources, because it offers and describes numerous YouTube pages that present information on many needs and topics.

This resourced filled website is helpful for teachers of all types. It is geared primarily towards locating information/resources, and then how to incorporate them in your classroom. Particularly, it allows for a simple search of various focused topics. For example, visitors can use the website to search lesson plans by subject, as well as post their own lesson plans, watch videos regarding using educational technology, and more. This website falls under the finding information section of week 6, because we (as teachers) can utilize it to locate resources we may need for class.

I love this website because it's like a huge, online how-to guide on how to implement the use of iPads in your classroom. It has ideas for every age level and games that follow Bloom's Taxonomy.

This website contains many things centered around iPad use in the classroom. It has a list of K-12 iPad apps. It also has several ways for teachers to evaluate apps based on different criteria to see if the app is classroom worthy.

Our topic for the week focuses on the presentation of the material you present to the classroom. This website contained information on how to create an engaging and interesting way to present the material in a classroom.

I like this website and I'm using an article from it in my lesson this week. I like this article as well because I think it is important that teachers understand the necessity of children learning from every experience they have in the classroom.

This is a website within classjump.com (collaboration tool) that one school created so teachers, faculty, students, and parents can collaborate and keep open lines of communication. From this site, you can view any teachers lesson plan for any particular class, as well as, get updated on upcoming events. Within this one site, there are many subpages that are easily organized so that any teacher, student, or parent can access the information they need. Assignments, payments, events, and many other things have been collaborated on this one website to make communication at any level much easier.

Mr. Marcinek's blog is ranked in the top 10 educational blogs of 2013. Mr. Marcinek is focused on explaining and stressing the importance of technology integration into classrooms while making sure that his readers understand the balance between technology and face-to-face learning. Edutopie.org is a great tool for teachers to use so that they can remind students and parents of upcoming events, and successfully communicate and answer questions outside of school.

The link is to a Pinterest page that has many creative ideas on how to keep open communication and collaboration between teachers and parents.

I found this particular twitter page very resourceful to early childhood education teachers. Ms. Graboski, the owner of this page, likes to share teaching ideas on this page and post pictures of her students learning through fun games and activities. This is great place where parents can tune in and see what their children are working on in class.
