The U.S. Embassy in Moldova seeks to support independent voices in the Moldovan media landscape through the development of good quality local content production capacity in the Republic of Moldova in the interests of plurality of views and editorial independence. Specifically, this initiative will contribute to the practical training and education of young generation of producers, filmmakers, and TV content producers etc to improve their operational processes. The U.S. Embassy seeks a partner to implement the American Film Showcase, which will consist in organizing a one-week training program for Moldovan content producers. The grant recipient will be responsible for overall logistical coordination, including promotion of the event, selection of participants in consultation with the U.S. Embassy, travel and lodging for international participants, and venue rental.

The U.S. Embassy in Moldova seeks to support independent voices in the Moldovan media landscape through the development of good quality local production capacity in the Republic of Moldova in the interests of plurality of views and editorial independence. Specifically, this initiative seeks to support the development of the community of filmmakers and digital content creators who use their medium to present an alternative vision of Moldovan society and culture. The U.S. Embassy seeks a qualified implementing partner that will select, mentor and monitor a series of sub-grantees from the Moldovan creative community.The project will include two major components: 1. Planning and administration of sub-grantees applying for production related initiatives. The grant recipient must solicit applications from emerging or established Moldovan filmmakers, NGOs and creative studios based on an open competition, and select participants based on merit, potential and proposed project goals and outcome. 2. Mentorship of filmmakers, studios and NGOs that successfully pass the selection stage for film production, film festivals, and other non-news production projects. Grant recipient need to mentor the funds recipients in all the cycles of the projects: Planning, Script writing (where necessary), Pitching, Production, Distribution, Fundraising etc. The funding competitions to be announced by the grant recipient of this funding opportunity should be opened to individuals and entities from/registered in the Republic of Moldova and can include different formats, i.e. documentary, narrative, animation, or experimental formats. The themes and goals shall be discussed together with the U.S. Embassy team and the grant recipient.

The Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) announces a Request for Statements of Interest (RSOI) from organizations interested in submitting Statements of Interest (SOI) outlining project concepts and capacity to manage programs that will contribute to stabilization in Iraq by advancing human rights and rule of law; promoting reconciliation, accountability, and atrocities prevention; strengthening effective governance and increasing political participation; and protecting and empowering women, youth, and marginalized populations, including ethnic and religious minorities. In recent years, inequality in the United States has become increasingly pervasive. At the same time, prospects for social mobility have decreased. The William T. Grant Foundation believes the research community can play a critical role in reversing this trend. To that end, the foundation is accepting applications in support of research projects designed to advance understanding in the area of inequalities in youth development and/or increase understanding of how research is acquired, understood, and used, as well as the circumstances that shape its use in decision making. Through its Research program, the foundation will award grants of up to $600,000 in support of research that focuses on ways to reduce disparities in academic, behavioral, social, and economic outcomes for youth. Priority will be given to projects related to inequality related to economic, racial/ethnic, and language background, but research that explores other areas will also be considered based on a compelling case for its impact. To be eligible, organizations must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Building mutual understanding is a cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy abroad. Through the explanation and presentation of U.S policies, values, culture and history, U.S. embassies and consulates abroad seek to tell America's story. To that end, the U.S. Mission to China (Embassy Beijing and Consulates General Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Wuhan) seeks to support activities that, whether through existing partnerships between eligible U.S. institutions and their Chinese counterparts or through new ties, explain American foreign policy, values and culture to the people of China. Such programming will enhance and broaden the outreach of the U.S. Mission in China. The U.S. Embassy in Beijing seeks to ensure that programming is representative of the depth and breadth of U.S. foreign policy, history values and culture. The U.S.-China relationship is one of the United States' most important bilateral relationships and much work remains to enable mutual understanding between the peoples of the two nations. Proposals should increase overall understanding of U.S. policy, society, and values by the people of China.

This notice solicits applications for the Health Center Program's Service Area Competition-Additional Areas (SAC-AA). The Health Center Program supports public and private nonprofit community-based and patient-directed organizations that provide primary health care services to the Nation's medically underserved. The purpose of the SAC-AA NOFO is to ensure continued access to affordable, quality primary health care services for communities and vulnerable populations currently served by the Health Center Program. This NOFO details the SAC-AA eligibility requirements, review criteria, and awarding factors for organizations seeking funding for operational support to provide primary health care services to an announced service area under the Health Center Program. For the purposes of this document, the term "health center" encompasses Health Center Program award recipients funded under the following subsections: Community Health Center (CHC - section 330(e)), Migrant Health Center (MHC - section 330(g)), Health Care for the Homeless (HCH - section 330(h)), and/or Public Housing Primary Care (PHPC - section 330(i)).

The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to improve quality and health outcomes in rural communities through technical assistance to beneficiaries of the Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) quality initiatives such as award recipients, Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), and other rural providers.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hereby notify Program Director(s)/Principal Investigator(s) (PD(s)/PI(s)) holding specific types of research grants (activity codes listed above) that funds are available for administrative supplements to improve the diversity of the research workforce by recruiting and supporting students, postdoctorates, and eligible investigators from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in health-related research. This supplement opportunity is also available to PD(s)/PI(s) of research grants who are or become disabled and need additional support to accommodate their disability in order to continue to work on the research project. Administrative supplements must support work within the scope of the original project.

Guided by the belief that all lives have equal value, and that all students-especially Black, Latino, and low-income students-must have equal access to a great public education that prepares them for adulthood, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is excited to announce this Request for Proposal (RFP) to fund Networks for School Improvement (NSI). An NSI is a group of secondary schools working in partnership with an Intermediary organization to use a continuous improvement process to significantly increase the number of Black, Latino, and low-income students who earn a high school diploma, enroll in a postsecondary institution, and are on track in their first year to earn a credential with labor-market value. Secondary school teams work collaboratively to identify, test, and refine solutions that target a problem and reach an aim common across the network. An NSI's aim is to improve outcomes that are predictive of high school graduation and postsecondary success.

The purpose of the NASA Fellowship Activity supports the vitality and diversity of the STEM workforce of NASA and the United States by training and funding graduate students during their STEM academic endeavors and providing access to NASA, its content, unique facilities, and STEM experts. The NASA Fellowship Activity expands the reach of NASA budget by leveraging funding sources and collaborating with other Federal Agencies to support graduate student research and the educational development of selected individuals.

The English Speaking Union of the United States each year sponsors a travel grant for study or research providing a stipend of up to $2,000. This competition is open to qualified under-graduate and post-graduate students, faculty, and others involved in academic pursuits that are in accord with the goal of the English Speaking Union of promoting education and understanding among the English speaking peoples of the world. The grant is designed to assist worthy individuals who are active in the fields of Business, the Humanities, Science and Engineering, Liberal, Fine or Applied Arts and who wish to study or conduct research either in the United States or in one of the countries of the British Commonwealth.

Special Collections at Smith College offer four fellowships. The Sophia Smith Collection and the Smith College Archives offer the Margaret Storrs Grierson, Friends of the Smith College Libraries, and Carel B. Germain Fellowships awarded in an annual competition. Scholars will hold awards of $2,500, intended to support research visits of four to six weeks.  One Mortimer Fellowship of $2,500 is awarded annually for research in the rare book collection.

The Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) program provides support to enhance the research capabilities of minority-serving institutions (MSI) through the establishment of centers that effectively integrate education and research. CREST promotes the development of new knowledge, enhancements of the research productivity of individual faculty, and an expanded presence of students historically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and  mathematics (STEM) disciplines. HBCU-RISE awards specifically target HBCUs to support the expansion of institutional research capacity as well as the production of doctoral students, especially those from groups underrepresented in STEM,  at those institutions.

Supported by the Elaine Schlosser Lewis Fund, the program annually provides an award of $15,000 to a child and adolescent psychiatry resident or junior faculty who has an interest in beginning a career in child and adolescent mental health research. The program is designed to support a young investigator at a critical stage of his/her development and encourage a future career in child and adolescent psychiatry research.

The Unitarian Universalist Association is accepting proposals from non-Unitarian Universalist groups in the U.S. and Canada for community organizing campaigns aimed at creating systemic change in the economic, social, and political structures that affect the lives of those who have been excluded from resources, power, and the right to determination.

To that end, the foundation is inviting concept applications from nonprofit organizations for its annual Signature Employment grants program, which supports new pilot initiatives, demonstration projects, or social ventures with the potential to generate new i solutions to high unemployment and underemployment among individuals with disabilities.

As a national network, BMe Community places a spotlight on the many ways that inspirational black men bring out the best in their cities so that these cities present a more attractive image as well. Since 2012, BMe has awarded more $2 million to men who are deeply committed to the well-being of others and are making a substantial positive impact on communities across the country.

NSF INCLUDES (Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science) is a comprehensive national initiative designed to enhance U.S. leadership in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) discoveries and innovations by focusing on broadening participation in these fields at scale. The vision of NSF INCLUDES is to catalyze the STEM enterprise to collaboratively work for inclusive change, which will result in a STEM workforce that reflects the population of the Nation. The initiative is developing a National Network composed of NSF INCLUDES Design and Development Launch Pilots, NSF INCLUDES Alliances, an NSF INCLUDES Coordination Hub, NSF-funded broadening participation projects, other relevant NSF-funded projects, scholars engaged in broadening participation research, and other organizations that support the development of talent from all sectors of society to build an inclusive STEM workforce.

The program defines a landmark as a site of historic importance within the United States and its territories that offers educators a unique and compelling opportunity to deepen and expand their knowledge of the diverse histories, cultures, traditions, languages, and perspectives of the American people. Projects employ a place-based approach, teaching historic sites through critical interpretation in order to explore central themes in American history and government, as well as in literature, art, music, and related humanities subjects.

The foundation created its Grants Program nearly thirty years ago to support still photographers. It recognizes that the profession more and more calls for a diverse range of story forms. Therefore, while submissions must include a set of still photographs, they should also include other story forms (e.g., audio, video, VR, or any other visual format).
