    The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) is sponsoring a Proposers Day webcast to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of an anticipated Research Announcement (RA) for the Young Faculty Award Program 2021 (YFA 2021) program. The Proposers Day will be held via prerecorded webcast on September 25, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Advance registration is required for viewing the webcast.

This new solicitation clarifies definitions, budgetary information, and announces broader target areas, as well as changes to submission requirements.

    The International Foundation for Ethical Research (IFER) is pleased to call for pre-proposal applications for its 2013 Graduate Student Fellowships for Alternatives to the Use of Animals in Science. The fellowships provide up to $12,500 annually in stipendiary support and up to $2,500 for supplies per year. The fellowships are renewable annually for up to three years. Continued funding is dependent on student progress and availability of funds.

    In September, Miami received notice from the government that our new F&A rates are: 44.5% for On Campus Organized Research 44.0% On Campus Sponsored Instruction 39.0% On Campus Other Sponsored Activities 26.0% Off Campus All Programs These rates are effective beginning September 1, 2014. Awards received beginning in September and all proposal submissions going forward will be required to use the new rates.

Countway Fellowships in the History of Medicine - 0 views

    The Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine offers annual fellowships to support research in the history of medicine.  The Countway Library is the largest academic medical library in the United States, and its Center for the History of Medicine holds 250,000 books and journals published before 1920 and is strong in virtually every medical discipline.  The Countway's archives and manuscripts include the personal and professional papers of prominent American physicians, many of whom were associated with HarvardMedicalSchool.  The printed, manuscript, and archival holdings are complemented by prints, photographs, and the collections of the WarrenAnatomicalMuseum.
