Since each country context is unique, CAP seeks general materials that will serve as training templates, which will then be modified to fit the specific context and needs of the country. Based on the training and information requests that INL is receiving from host nation counterparts, CAP would like to develop distinct and specific training materials for prosecutors and judges. For the prosecutors, the materials will focus on successful prosecution of homicide and domestic violence cases. For the judges, the materials should focus on the use of scientific and DNA evidence as well as the role of a judge in the adversarial trial process.

 This purpose of this grant is to: educate, train, and produce materials for law enforcement, criminal justice practitioners, and treatment providers to reduce justice costs, reduce recidivism, improve access to services and service delivery, and reduce disproportionality of punishment in the criminal justice system. The grant recipient shall:* Use expert practitioners in the fields engaged in law enforcement, criminal justice systems planning, and drug courts, specifically law enforcement, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, probation and parole officers, corrections officials, treatment providers, and criminal justice and public health policymakers. * Provide in-person training and jurisdiction-specific technical assistance to a variety of demographically-composed areas at the state, local, and tribal levels.* Include ONDCP policy priorities in the development and execution of training and technical assistance program and educational materials: o evidence-based treatment, medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders, o overdose prevention, o diversion programming with comprehensive case management and service provision* Collect and analyze data from jurisdictions engaged in grantee programming on alternatives to incarceration to determine the effectiveness of the trainings and on-site assistance.

The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is seeking applications for funding under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Learning and Performance Initiative. Work completed under this cooperative agreement will result in the revision, conversion, and or development of instructional materials for three existing courses of instruction for NIC's Academy Division. These courses are used to build competency and capacity in the field of corrections in learning and performance, leadership development, and the provision of behavioral programming to justice-involved individuals

The successful applicant will continue to develop and expand the OJJDP National Mentoring Resource Center (NMRC), which will provide comprehensive mentoring resource, reference, and training materials and advance the implementation of evidence- and research-based mentoring practices. The Louisiana State University Special Collections department invites applications to our 2020-2021 research travel grant program. Grants of at least $1,000 are available to support travel, lodging, and additional expenses during a research visit to Baton Rouge, LA. The purpose of the Elder Justice Innovation Grants program is to support the development and advancement of new and emerging issues related to elder justice. Funded projects will contribute to the improvement of the field of elder abuse prevention and intervention at large, such as by developing materials, programs, etc. that can be widely disseminated and/or replicated, or by establishing and/or contributing to the evidence-base of knowledge. For FY 2017, funded projects will continue to build the evidence-base on successful approaches to reduce and ameliorate the harm people experience as a result of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation, and to better understand what adult protective services practices produce the best outcomes.
