Nanoogo--This FREE site encourages children to be creative and share ideas. It's a cross between a blog and a digital canvas and formatting is really simple. Users just drag and drop the images and text however they wish. There is also a teacher sign up option, which lets you quickly add a whole class or school. Worth a look.
Broad Cam Pro--can turn your iPad into a live exhibit..your can showcase and interact with websites and materials on your desktop and record the video. Looks worth the $4.99.
Description is an inexpensive (.99) iPad app that allows you to explain a website, record (screecast) computer screen and voice and annotate. It looks really helpful.
On this free website, you enter text and it's reworded--might be worth an look. It indicates that it helps with vocabulary development and comprehension.
You can turn a doc, PPt and more into an interactive book. I see lots of potential here if you write books with students that are then shared with families. Free, of course!
Free cloud storage with Copy--works similar to Dropbox -- free and 15 GB of storage. (I use Dropbox and see no need to change, but this has an app that you can install on any device and, apparently, is not in conflict with Dropbox). Might be worth a book.
