A guide for becoming a better screencaster. IMHO, screencasting is what professors are doing when they record a lecture for students. This may help improve the quality of those 'recorded lectures'

This is a great resource. i just sent it out to my graduate students. Some of the critical care journals require MLA style and we have been looking for a software that can help us manage references. I was delighted to see all of the different reference styles supported by some of the software.

Julie and Vicki have published a research report on using audio feedback for peer review on student writing.

Thanks Newman, this is great. Something to keep in mind for students and faculty wanting to publish to iTunes University as well. I have seen several podcasts with blacked out scenes because there wasn't permission to show the content or images that was being presented.

This article talks about Google Body, a 3-D model of human anatomy that is available free online through Google. It's pretty neat. Certainly an inexpensive way for students to explore anatomy at their own pace.

Good example of a 'learning Object' - animations and small units on Genetics

This is a great place to learn genetics, I tried numerous modules and they all work when you enter the web module, however there were no instructor instructions or student instructions on these tools,... only a screen stating it was under construction, so I would recommend that if you use this site you write clear instructions for your students. I plan to use the site with the nurse practitioners in the Spring. I will require the Genetic counseling one for this group. I hope that they will be intrigued and try some of the other modules, which they may have to do in order to correctly do the genetic counseling.

The modules consist of 17 activity guides with 4 accompanying PowerPoint presentations. Each activity guide includes a list of further resources.

Some affordable lectures you might be able to use as either supplements or serve as an idea generator for how you make your lectures available to students...and perhaps others.

Use Yodio to add your voice to your photos or presentations, and share these narrated photos with your students.

Focused on the K-12 market, but some good ideas in there.
