    Excellent activities for all levels.

Laura, thanks for sharing this resource--it's going to be so helpful! Perhaps teachers can link up course-specific activities on the relevant course pages, maybe even linked to specific modules or units of the books.

PicLits.com - Create a PicLit - 1 views

Students can choose a picture and then drag and drop words from a given list to write a sentence, a message or a poem relating to the picture.  There is also a freestyle option for students to write their own sentences.  Their pictures can then be saved, embedded in a blog or emailed.
  •
Wow--this sounds simple but Writing 3 and 4 teachers should definitely check this out! Drag and drop sentence-building from a word list develops vocabulary and refocuses the activity on syntax, collocations and word form. Students can alter the form of the word and add a capital letter. I didn't see any full stops to finish the sentences though! Freestyle sentence-writing is also well-supported. Each image has a relevant word-list attached--great for developing vocabulary.

Triptico: e-Learning Design and Training - 0 views

Triptico have a range of online games and activities for classroom use.  The 'Original Word Magnets'  is particularly good.   You enter a text which the programme then jumbles then students have to rearrange  the letters or words. We used it with students working in pairs testing each other on their vocabulary/spelling but it can be used for sentences or short texts.

PhotoPeach - Fresh slideshows to go! - 0 views

Photopeach is great for making slideshows with captions.  You can also make a multiple choice quiz for each image.  Great for vocabulary work or a 'different' way of presenting sentences for error correction .
