A severe Earthquake having a magnitude of 5.8 hit Northern Baja California region on Wednesday morning. It was preceded by a couple of less strong quakes. The quake was quite strong and its tremors were felt in areas like San Diego, Tijuana, Los Angeles and Phoenix. Buildings swayed in San Diego, as per the reports. However, no casualty or damages were reported after the quake hit the region. It took place at around 10:48 a.m. regional time. The seismologists traced the epicenter of the quake to be around 20 to 22 miles from Mexicali, a border city in Mexico.

The Bellary Naga Actor is survived by his wife Bharti and 2 children. Vishnuvardhan was not keeping well since quite some time and had recently been to Mysore for rest. Yesterday he was admitted to Vikram hospital in Mysore after he complained of severe chest pain. However after being treated he returned to his house in the evening. But again the same chest pain started at 2:30am today and he breathed his last, when he was being taken to the hospital. Vishnu's friends call him a generous, simple human being.
