I find hope in the rooted things: family, crops, a legacy of generations, words rooted in the Word ... Root of David. I'm on a journey Home, and along the way, I love to tell the story ('Twill be my theme in glory!) I teach journalism at a small Christian colllege in northwest Iowa.
