What is Keratosis Pilaris? Keratosis Pilaris is aa chronic disorder affecting people of almost all the age group. It is a skin condition in which a protein in the skin which is known as keratin forms hard lumps within hair follicles. They are usually found on the back, arms, upper arms, buttocks and thighs etc.Keratosis Pilaris is another skin disorder which causes small acne-like lesions and raised bumps all over the affected area on the skin. These lesions or bumps are usually white in color and can sometimes turn red. This is an extremely frustrating skin disorder.

Benign Essential Tremor is basically inconsistent shaking of the arms, hands or legs. It usually affects the voluntary movements in the body causing shaking of the limbs which hinders the routine tasks such as eating, drinking or writing etc.

Alopecia is known as an autoimmune disorder where hair follicles are attacked by body's own immune system which further causes hair loss in various patches. Usually it is characterized as a skin disease rather than a hair disorder.

Emphysema is a chronic respiratory disorder of the lungs which causes shortness of breath due to inflation of the air sacs in the lungs. Lung tissues get destroyed in this disorder and cause obstruction in the flow of gases such as Oxygen and Carbon dioxide.

Granuloma Annulare is a chronic skin disorder which is often identified by the reddish lesions on the skin. These reddish bumps are arranged on the skin as rings or circles and are usually believed to be caused by overproduction of white blood cells.

Myasthenia Gravis is a rare neuromuscular disorder which further leads to fluctuating muscles causing fatigue and major weakness in the body. Weakness usually occurs due to circulating antibodies which cause blockage of acetylcholine receptors at the postsynaptic neuromuscular junction.

Lichen Planus is a mucous disorder also characterized as a skin disorder sometimes which affects the mucous membranes. It is caused due to an autoimmune disorder but what triggers this disease is not known yet.

Graves' Disease is usually termed as a thyroid disorder which commonly enlarges the thyroid and causes over activity of the thyroid also known as hyperthyroidism. It causes weakening of muscles, disturbed sleep, massive irritability and sometimes increased heart rate.

Achalasia is an esophageal motility disorder which is common on the smooth layer of the esophagus and lower esophageal sphincter. It causes incomplete relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter and increase in LES tone. It causes a lot of difficulty moving food down the esophagus therefore causing indigestion and loss of appetite.

Eye Bags are sacs of fluid beneath the lower lashes covering the under eye area. These bags are formed due to lack of sleep, excess water intake or sometimes sleeping immediately after consuming water. These bags can also be formed due to various allergies, sinus infection or sometimes due to cold.

Motor Neuron Disease is not just any one disorder. It is basically a group of various neuron disorders which usually affect the motor neurons. These cells are responsible for aiding voluntary movements in the body which are majorly hindered due to the presence of this disorder.

Inclusion Body Myositis is characterized as an inflammatory muscle disorder which further causes slow and progressive weakness of both distal and proximal muscles. It causes weakness in the arms and legs causing fatigue and inability to perform massive movements.

Costochondritis is characterized by pain in the chest wall. It is benign and quite often causes temporary inflammation of the costal cartilage. It causes irritating chest pain and severe angina sometimes.

Hyperhidrosis is a disorder of excessive sweating. In this type of disorder a person sweats a lot than usual. People affected by this disorder even sweat in the cooler temperatures. People with this condition suaully have overactive sweat glands which causes a lot of sweating.
