Here are some classroom ideas for activities using a range of apps that teachers can try with their students. The activities are grouped into broad categories to provide a starting point however many of the apps can be used across a number of learning domains.

"I have been using the Bamboo a few weeks now and really like it. It is the same size as a pen with some weight so the feel of it is much better. Excellent build quality for a simple tool and the silicon type top means it very nicely glides across the screen and much easier than the Pogo stylus. I really am enjoying using it. I have a number of notepads for different projects open within the app Penultimate and its working really well. Referring back is easy. Not carrying paper is great and the only thing I am very careful about is ensuring my iPad always has plenty of battery."

"Whenever friends or family forward those jokes emails or motivational videos clips, the first thing I'll do is to delete them. Pardon me, but I seldom see any true value in those emails to really justify the few minutes reading or watching them. But a few days ago, something made me watch a motivational videos clip. It was sent by my sister. And I was glad I did that. It was so heart wrenching and yet motivational that for the first time I realize there can be gems in such emails! I cried. And I just couldn't stop. Because of that, I've decided to compile a list of all the wonderful motivational videos clips that I can find and hope they'll inspire you just like how they've motivated me. Live your life to the fullest pursuing your dreams. Regardless of whatever odds you may face. And be absolutely grateful for everything around you. Be it your friends, family, classmates or even your neighbours."

"This form will help you identify those who may be at risk and who will benefit from additional testing to look for conditions that cause SCA. The HCMA offers the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Risk Assessment Form, SCARAF, This form should be distributed to all school age children and families. This 2- page form has the AHA 12 point items addressed and written in a manner that a parent is more likely to provide as clinically relevant data to a physician. This document was created with the assistance of Dr. Robert Campbell and the HCMA. It offers 3 options Yes - No - Unsure. Should the parent/you answers Yes or Unsure to any question they are offered 3 steps to follow: 1. Bring this form to your personal physician and discuss cardiac screening. 2. Seek an evaluation from a cardiac professional including appropriate testing (ECG, echocardiogram and additional if warrented) and consultation. 3. Share this information with your family. This tool creates a clinical indication for testing should the parent identify a risk factor; therefore, the clinical evaluation and testing should be covered by all major insurance programs in the USA. This tool also has the power to move beyond the child and to the parent as it is far more common to see a death under the age of 54 and over the age of 24, therefore the parents are at a similar risk as the child."
