iPad apps for math

WhatsApp Messenger :: cross-platform mobile messaging app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia. Send text, video, images, audio for free.

Consider going straight to Google itself and see what technology tools appear in their list of apps. Much easier than searching for your own. Since many businesses and organizations also use Google Mail as their internal communication platform, the now mainstream acceptance means the apps are likely fairly robust and worth a try.

Flashcard Hero is a study app to make flashcards on your Mac. Study on Mac & iPhone/iPad via iCloud. The app keeps track of the study progress for each card.

A Georgia Tech student claims he and two roommates were able to get any user's phone number, that they texted the founder (who, he said, called him back), to spam any user, and to send any text they want. Now it looks like one of them will be working for the company.

Students are on top of texting and it's great to communicate with them, but giving out ones cell phone number isn't the best idea. This app solves the problem, text go out, but your number stays hidden.

I was most surprised by Whisper and Omegle.

The best part is it is very user-friendly. I highly recommend trying it out!

The main argument stems from the fact that the students (and most of the teachers) are already there. Facebook has 1.1 billion users, and despite reports that young people are drifting away from Facebook in favour of mobile messaging apps like WhatsApp and Snapchat, you'd be hard pressed to find a teenager in the UK without an account.
