The Government of Punjab has approved another Rs 3.26 billion budget for the Metro Bus Transit System (MBTS) this Thursday. MBTS is being regarded as the top most developmental projects by the provincial government so far. This budgeted amount is approved to carry out the MBTS operations including Lahore -Ferozepur Road Corridor; Erection of Escalators and Platform Screen Doors at MBS Stations. In comparison to Metro Bus project, Punjab Planning and Development Board in its 27th meeting which was presided over by Chairman Javed Aslam approved Rs. 4.7 billion only for eight other developmental projects for different economic sectors. The meeting was attended by Planning and Development Punjab Secretary, members of the Planning & Development Board and other senior representatives of the relevant departments.

Islam is a growing religion and it is a religion that has become quite popular after the attack on the Twin Towers. People were enraged by what happened on 9/11 and they wanted to know why some Muslims would do such a thing. This is when people started to take interest in Islam to learn what it was all about. There were many people that started off by learning about Jihad and understood that Jihad is not something horrible. People have just made this word horrible by depicting it in a negative sense. A girl that was only 17 years old was murdered by her Pakistani born mother and father because she was bringing "shame" to the family. Who was she? What was she doing that was bringing her parents shame? Her name was Shafilea Ahmed and she was a young girl who was murdered on September 11, 2003 by her parents for dating boys. Shafilea was trying to lead a Western life like everyone else in the West and she was trying to get dates with boys her age.

The Pakistani Taliban has once again displayed their inhumane and horrendous side, the persuasive atmosphere of fear and grief is prevailing in Pakistan due to the recent incident. The Pakistani Taliban kidnapped 23 Levis soldiers after an attack on the Levis posts by militants in the Frontier Region Peshawar, police said. On December 27, around 30 men well equipped with advanced weapons reached Koi Hassankhel and Jani Kor in two vehicles. Many of these fatwas on the controversial Hadith / Sunnah and there is no Ijma (consensus) in such cases. These researchers see only medieval sources and follow taqlid (mechanical ventilators), because it was considered safe by many Islamic scholars.

The Iraqi people are the native inhabitants of the country of Iraq, (also known as Mesopotamia). From late Assyrian and Babylonian times until the early Islamic era, the Iraqi people spoke Aramaic but also witnessed a minority Arab presence. Arabic had been a minority language in Iraq since the 8th century BC, it was spoken in Hatra in the 1st and 2nd centuries, and by Iraqi Christians in Al-Hirah from the 3rd century, and from the 8th century following the Muslim conquest of Mesopotamia it became the common language of Iraqi Muslims, due to Arabic being the language of the Qur'an and the Caliphate. This change was facilitated by the fact that Arabic being a Semitic language, shared a close resemblance to Iraq's traditional languages of Akkadian and Aramaic. Turkish language is one of the members of the Altaic group of languages which were originated about a thousand years ago in the Altay mountain range of Northern Siberia. Thursday was the bloodiest day in Pakistan in recent times, and in a country that is being devastated by militants, that is saying something. The capital of the troubled province of Balochistan, Quetta, was hit by three separate bomb blasts, leaving over 100 people dead. While hospitals in the city cope with hundreds of people who were injured in the devastating blasts, funeral prayers for the deceased were carried out today. The attacks have received widespread condemnation from people belonging to all walks of life, including the government, politicians, and civil society at large.

In the past, the way a Muslim woman dressed would be seen as a potential barrier to integration and to fully participating in society. As attitudes have modernised, so too have styles of dress that can be worn by women with multiple roles to carry out, from mother and wife to office worker and saleswoman. The great thing about the evolution of Islamic dress is that it continues to allow these women to be faithful to their religion while dressing in a modest, luxurious fashion that makes people of all backgrounds appreciate how stylish they look.

The government of Pakistan has proposed the option of UN investigation for the cease fire violation along Pak-Indo border as a couple days India protested the killing of its two soldiers by Pakistan military along the heavily militarized border. India claimed that Pakistan was the one who was involved in the cease fire violation and killed two of its soldiers. However, Pakistan responded back by proposing an option of UN investigation as it is not clear whether it was India or Pakistan.

There have been huge killing and massacre of the Muslim community in Burma which started since Feb. 9, 2012. As it was first reported by international Islamic agency (IINA) as stated that about 15-20 numbers of Rohingya (members of local tribe) Muslims were killed who belonged to Moley Phara a town of (Myanmar) formerly famous as Burma. This area is in the Arakan province which is situated in the northwest of Myanmar. This act of genocide was committed by an ultra-racist group called Magh (Rakhaine) a terrorist wing in this country with the mutual aid of the country's security forces. People claiming them as present on scene state that a crowd of combative Buddhists approached to the area in the main Muslim district and started fighting with locals. After killing and damaging the area they afterward torched number of residences. During this happening deployed police waited as spectator and did nothing to intervene or try to quell the aggression. Later on reports say that Myanmar military, which arrived much later following the event, successfully control over the situation.

Being Muslim it is a great honor for the Muslim community that they believe in such a prophet whose follower are so profoundly attached with his teaching of religion and they have the greatest respect and love even to use his name along with their own name. All Muslim cultures consider it very important to get united with the name of prophet by using the great Muslim name Mohammad with their new generation and even inculcate in the minds of their younger generation the attachment to the name of their Holy prophet. This name of Mohammad may be pronounced and written in different spelling a version of the style but the meaning of all is about the one which is called 'the one who is most praised in this world'. This can be proved by the follower of the Muslim religion that they have shown such attachment to this name of their prophet. Muslim names may be having any prefix or suffix to be attached with this name Mohammad, but they consider it is necessary and foremost important and beneficent for their better fortune and nice living in this world. They think it as peace of mind to be united with this great name.

Muslims all over the world are fasting in the month of Ramadan, on the hand brutal massacre of Muslims is going on in Burma unnoticeable. All the so called super powers, the entire mainstream media and the so called global representative UNO is showing criminal silence on this issue just because the entire massacre is taking place against Muslims. So far, more than 20,000 Muslims have been killed, burnt, and raped and more than 100,000 Muslims have been compelled to depart their houses. The so called peaceful face of Buddhists has been exposed, had it happened by the Muslims, you would've seen all the global leadership, UNO, and mainstream media portraying it as the worst instance of terrorism by Muslims. Is it not strange? Today, there is a deep silence all over the world on this massacre, the only criticism we have seen yet is from the Muslims, verily as per one of the sayings of the prophet (PBUH) Muslims are like different parts of one body as one part is under pain the entire body experiences the pain. Mostly people are blaming the government of Burma for this genocide. Apart from UNO or mainstream media, we do not see any protest from so called humanitarian NGOs as well. NY time, Washington post, daily herald, BBC, CNN, times, guardian all is showing complete silence because they do not consider Muslims to be human beings.

Islam is a monotheistic religion that was also the religion of Abraham, which was brought by the Quran. In Islam all Muslims believe in one supreme God and nothing can be compared to His greatness and our purpose as Muslims is to serve and love God. Islam concludes all the faiths that were brought by the prophets who were before like Jesus, Moses and Abraham and they have maintained the original revelation but Quran is the final revelation of Allah. All Muslims are requested to have adverse knowledge in the religion of Islam so that it becomes easier for us to know what God expects from us. There are various ways to learn Islam as an adult.
