GeoGebra - 0 views

GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for schools that joins geometry, algebra and calculus. It is an interactive geometry system where you can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. In addition, equations and coordinates can be entered directly. GeoGebra has the ability to deal with variables for numbers, vectors and points, finds derivatives and integrals of functions and offers commands like Root or Extremum. These two views are characteristic of GeoGebra: an expression in the algebra window corresponds to an object in the geometry window and vice versa.

Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design. Scratch is available free of charge, go to Download.
Currently available for Mac OSX and Windows ( system requirements)
