This is a really helpful sight that describes the conditions that the soldiers were put through during their time at Gallipoli.

I found this website really helpful because they had very useful primary sources that I could use in my Oral, because they were letters written by the soldiers in the trenches.

This website helped me a lot. On pages 10 onwards, there is many primary sources. In the sources there are images, letters from the soldiers and newspaper articles from 1915. The newspaper article on this website was the first article released to the Australian public about the Gallipoli Landing. These were very helpful and contributed to most of my inquiry questions.

This reference is from the Australian War Memorial so it is very trustworthy. It has stated on the site how many Australians died in the Gallipoli Campaign. There is a table which describes the people who died in action, from diseases, wounds and gives you the month these soldiers were killed in.

this is a great PDF document by Cambridge University. it helped me a lot with effects of the war on soldiers and there were some great quotes on what the Anzac Legend means. this also helped with my question about the motivations behind Australians involvement in Gallipoli. enjoy!
