Researchers should evaluate the quality of information appearing online or in print based on five criteria--scope of coverage, authority, objectivity, accuracy and timeliness. This guide defines the criteria, documents incidents of questionable, false or fraudulent information as reported in the news or trade literature, provides examples of Web sites that illustrate good or bad information, and suggests strategies that help you detect bad information.

Interesting post! I really like how visual the calendars are. This would be so much nicer than the evance calendar. I tried going to the tockify.com site but had trouble- I could only access the search for a calendar page (was on my ipad though). Was wondering if it's free or subscription service.

Has many of the features that Photoshop has. Best for those who have had some experience with Photoshop. (As of February 2014, not windows 8 compatible)

Inkscape is a professional vector graphics editor for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It's free and open source. Similar to Adobe Illustrator.
