The skyrocketing use of mobile phones, have opened a huge platform for enterprises to tap the most number of audience and reach them through mobile applications. I have come across various applications that offer numerous unique features for events.

The mobilization of events has undoubtedly increased attendee participation and engagement to a great extent. Information is now available at the fingertips of the attendees, and organizers are able to reach their audience much easily, who otherwise would not pay much attention to the ongoing event in their busy schedules.

With the initial idea, which was to put in all the information that was on paper to these apps, to cut costs on printing, reducing tree cutting, and helping attendees receive all the important information about the conference in the most convenient manner; the use of apps have already become a lot more than that in the past couple of years.

Event mobile apps have seen a tremendous growth in the past few years. Statistics show that implementation and usage of these mobile applications will see greater heights in the coming years. Further advancements in the technology will help evolve the event industry like never before.

The initial concept of the mobile applications was, all the information that was on the papers was transferred to the applications, and implemented in a way that information could be conveyed to participants.
