This site is dedicated to helping educators everywhere in the United States understand the issue of copyright. As an educator, there are three main issues you need to understand. They are: the Public Domain, Fair Use, and Intellectual Property. We have tried to make them as simple as possible, and have included more complex definitions and explanations in more detailed legal-like form if you would like to do more research.

A QUEST is a journey in Google Earth that allows the user to explore while Questioning and Understanding Earth and Space science Themes.  Created by undergraduate students at Penn State Brandywine, Earth and Space QUESTs are designed for middle school students, high school students, and the general public.  Each QUEST provides scientifically accurate information presented in a geographic context to enhance several literacies.

Mathipedia.com is a site dedicated to making mathematics accessible to everyone in ways that are simple to understand and presented in different forms for different learning styles. Mathipedia has a goal of providing resources that can be used by students, parents, and teachers free of charge without strict copyright restrictions. Here is what you will find on this site:

500 Years of Science, Reason & Critical Thinking via the medium of gross over simplification, dodgy demarcation, glaring omission and a very tiny font. The map of modern science was created to celebrate the achievements of the scientific method through the age of reason, the enlightenment and modernity. Despite many of the scientific disciplines mapped having more ancient origins, I have restricted the map to modern science starting from the 16th century scientific revolution. The map primarily includes modern scientists who have made significant advances to our understanding of the world, however I have also included many present day scientists who fuel a passion for, and advances in, science through communication and science popularisation.

Mission US is an interactive adventure game designed to improve the understanding of American history by students in grades 5 through 8. The first game in a planned series, Mission 1: "For Crown or Colony?" explores the reasons for Revolution through the eyes of both Loyalists and Patriots in 1770 Boston.  This website provides information and materials to support the use of Mission 1 in your classroom. So, my question is, did you understand all of the steps he used to create that? I read the article and I got lost about 3 steps in.... I must say, it looks awesome!

This would be great for the student data boards if you could find a way to give those groups who need it access to change the data.
